Not long ago we sent "Congratulations!" to fuseproject's founder Yves Behar on the birth of his second child. "... a cool design", he responded, "almost reminds me of Dutch banknotes ;) Would be cool to make currency based on life events: congratulations, I'm sorry, good work, etc..."
With Yves' inspiration and with apologies to Dutch bank note designers Ootje Oxenaar, Jaap Drupsteen and J.J. Kruit, we designed some "notes" on our own. Additional thanks to Eric Baker for his curatorial eye.
